Despite recent efforts to develop the city, outlying townships are still under threat from outsiders. Saracens scout the borders, while Vikings plunder wealth and livestock. Even the Byzantines have shown their darker side.
Secure the City:
Play as nobles and gather workers from the city to defend against enemies, build fortifications, and spread faith throughout the land with the help of the King's finest knights. Ready the horses and sharpen the swords! The paladins are approaching.
Pave the Way for Victory:
The aim of Paladins of the West Kingdom is to be the player with the most victory points at the end of the game. Points are gained by building outposts and fortifications, commissioning monks, and confronting outsiders.
Play Seven Rounds:
Each round, players will enlist the help of a Paladin and gather workers to carry out tasks. As the game progresses, players will increase their faith, strength, and influence by taking turns to place workers on their personal and shared boards.
Be a Strategist:
Manage your citizens and construction projects on your personal board. Pools of workers are created at the top of each round based. Use this pool wisely to ensure you see your city to victory.
